New Maitahi website goes live

Our new website launched this week. We do hope you enjoy the upgrade and the way it looks on mobile devices.

A new website has been on the agenda for quite a long time. The old one has done really well but was not mobile responsive and most of us are accessing the internet on our phones these days.

We would like to thank Karen Clark for the amazing job she did on the original content for the old Maitahi website. Most of it was copied over to the new website and just incorporated into the more modern look. It made my job much easier.

There is an event calendar feature that will allow events to be updated more regularly. Downloading documents has been made easier and there are now online forms for membership and social paddling enquiries.

The new website incorporates a few changes, the videos about how to use Teamer are now available, as are the training videos from Corina Gage on paddling techniques. There area some great photos taken by club members and by Garrick Cameron, at the Long Distance Nationals in 2016. Thanks to Julie, Kilmeny, Sam and of course Carlos, whose photos really capture the excitement of the sport and the spirit of our Maitahi whanau.

The new website was designed, built and donated by Avoca Web Design.

We hope you enjoy it.
